jchambersusa@gmail.comQuestions I get on most first calls
We're a small team with messy spreadsheets. Is that too early for this?
That's the most common starting point, and honestly my favorite. Messy spreadsheets usually mean a lot of manual work is happening, which is exactly what AI workflow automation and a simple dashboard fix. The Automation Audit is designed for this situation.
Which tools do you use? Do we need to buy new software?
I build inside what you already pay for whenever possible. Microsoft 365 shops get Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot. Google shops get Looker Studio and Apps Script. For AI, I work with Claude and Microsoft Copilot and will recommend whichever fits your security and budget needs.
What kind of data do you work with?
Any kind. Finance, operations, sales, customer activity, product usage, cloud costs: if it lives in a system or a spreadsheet, I can connect it, clean it, and turn it into reporting or feed it to an AI partner. The analytics approach is the same regardless of the domain.
Is our data safe?
Yes. Everything runs inside your own accounts and permissions, I never store copies of your data, and I set up AI integrations with proper authentication and scoped access. I'm happy to sign an NDA and walk your IT contact through the setup.
What if the automation breaks after you're done?
Every build includes error alerts and 30 days of support. After that, most clients either handle small fixes themselves using the documentation, or keep me on a light monthly retainer.
Do you work with businesses outside San Diego?
Yes. Almost all of this work happens remotely over video calls and shared screens. I'm in Pacific time and work with clients across the US.
How is this different from hiring a developer or an agency?
I sit between the business and the technology. I've done the operations jobs that these AI and analytics tools serve, so I start from how your team works and build backwards from there, instead of starting from a tech stack. You also get one person from scoping through handoff.
